SMARTHUB/PAYMENT OPTIONS

Life just got a little easier with SmartHub

Follow this direct ONLINE BILL PAY link and you will be able to:

View and/or print your current and past bills

View charts and graphs of your electric usage

View your outage history

If you already use eBill you can login to SmartHub using the same e-mail and password you have always used.

Once you're registered for SmartHub you will receive monthly e-mail notifications when the latest billing information is available on-line and when accounts are due.  SmartHub is just another way your cooperative strives to provide the latest in convenience and technology for our members.

SmartHub option is available for you to use to pay your electric bill on-line. It will cost you $3.95 per transaction.  The maximum amount that can be paid per credit card transaction is $500.00.  There is no limit for payment by check.

All you need is your REC account number, last name or business name, an email address and then create your own password.

SmartHub is fully secure as it uses state-of-the-art encryption.

Other payment options

Your electric bill will arrive in the mail around the 10th of each month. The bill is payable upon receipt and considered past due if not paid by the due date which is normally the 30th of each month. Holidays and bad weather can affect the length of billing periods. If payment is not received by the disconnection date as printed on the monthly bill, the service may be subject to disconnection. Additional trip charges will be assessed to post a service for disconnection and to disconnect the service.

Payment on your account can be made by several convenient methods.

On-Line through SmartHub:  Follow the link to make your payment electronically.

Through the mail:  A return envelope is enclosed with the bill. A portion of your bill (this is noted on your billing statement) should be sent along with your payment to ensure proper credit on the account. Payments sent through the mail should be made with a check or money order.

In Person:  You may bring your payment to the cooperative offices in Corning, Mount Ayr, or Stanton. The office is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We also have a night deposit box at the offices which may be used at any time.

Automatic Payment Plan:  Having your payment deducted automatically from your checking account is simple, reliable and it can help you save time and money. There are no checks, stamps or trips. We offer this service free of charge. To sign up, fill out this form and return it to our office.

Budget Billing:   Budget billing is suited for helping our member-owners balance their household expenses throughout the year, instead of paying larger utility bills during their peak heating or cooling periods. Budget billing permits the REC and member-owners to spread total service costs evenly over a 12-month period. Contact our office if you are interested in our budget billing program.
